Ole Miss Alumni Launch Bra Startup Company

After four years of development, Twinnks launches in March 2020

Lets venture back to 2016. These were the days when we were free to leave the house whenever we wanted, you could hug your friends and family, and my twin sister, Rebecca, and I had a great idea for a new bra.

We set out to solve our number one pet peeve when it came to getting dressed: the visible cup line (VCL). Women, you know what I’m talking about. The edge of the bra cup that give you those horrid lines:

Without the Nah Bra: typical bra problem (or brablem, if you will): the visible cup lines. This is what we set out to solve.

As we started researching if this already existed, we grew even more frustrated with how the industry explained what caused the VCL. We’re wearing the wrong size, we’re not washing it properly, we’re washing it too much or not enough, we’re not rotating enough. The list was endless. While some of that may be true, the real issue is…wait for it…the bra cup is not part of your skin (Google it!). The transition from cup to skin is abrupt, therefore, it will inevitably show. Simple as that.

It was clear that the only thing that existed was a lot of bra-wearer-shaming. Therefore, we decided to make it ourselves.

With the Nah Bra: VCL eliminated

In addition to the fabric overlay, the Nah Bra features:

Twinnks’ Nah Bra
