You have a responsibility to look after the owner of your business

You are NOT your business!

You are a separate entity who has relationships, family, friends, needs, wants and dreams — and not all of those things are business related.

When business is failing we see ourselves as the failure, but we aren’t. We are simply the driver of the bus, travelling on a busy highway with plenty of obstacles. It’s up to us to do the best we can.

But even bus drivers take a break every two hours. Why? Because they can’t concentrate effectively unless they’re sufficiently fed and rested. If they keep pushing, they make mistakes.

So make like a bus driver, and take a break

Because looking after yourself is the only way you can be confident of successfully driving your business into the future.
