Melody was completely still like sleep paralysis, but she was awake.

Melody liked the feeling of the water splashing on her feet. She was away on the island and she had not told anyone where she was. Packing for the trip had been a blur, jumping into the car to the airport, and getting on the plane.

Getting there.

She was driven to the resort and there was an additional helicopter to this deserted part of the island. When she got out of the helicopter and took her bag, he watched it go up into the sky and then walked to her private bungalow.

Within moments she was walking on the beach, water splashing on her feet. Melody closed her eyes and hummed. When she opened her eyes she gasped. There was a heart drawn out on the sand. Melody ran the opposite way.

How?

She ran to the bungalow and closed all the doors. She looked in every room, then sat down on the bed veiled in mosquito net.

And screamed.

He was under the bed, holding her legs.

Melody was completely still like sleep paralysis, but she was awake.

He found her.
